Delta Air Lines Overhauls Leadership, Appoints New President and Chief Operating Officer
Delta Air Lines has announced a significant executive leadership reshuffle. Peter Carter has been promoted to the role of President, succeeding Glen Hauenstein who is set to retire. The airline named Mike Spanos as its new Chief Operating Officer, replacing the retiring John Laughter. As part of the changes, current CFO Daniel Janki will transition to lead the loyalty program and Delta Vacations. Gary Chase, currently a senior vice president, will step into the Chief Financial Officer position.
