De Havilland Canada Delivers Milestone 1000th Twin Otter Aircraft
De Havilland Aircraft of Canada has achieved a significant production milestone with the delivery of its 1,000th Twin Otter. The landmark aircraft, a new DHC-6 Twin Otter Classic 300-G, was handed over to the Swiss-based operator, Zimex Aviation. This delivery represents the sixth Twin Otter to join the Zimex fleet, which is utilized for humanitarian missions and supporting the resource industry. The ceremony took place at De Havilland's facility in Calgary, celebrating the enduring legacy of the versatile aircraft. The new Classic 300-G series features an advanced Garmin G1000 NXi avionics suite and a redesigned cabin.
