Davenport Aviation Validates Weapon System on Adapted H125 Helicopter
Davenport Aviation has successfully validated a new weapon delivery system for the Airbus H125, effectively converting the utility helicopter into a light attack platform. The validation tests took place at the US Army’s Yuma Proving Ground, where the modified aircraft successfully fired 70mm rockets and .50-caliber machine guns. Developed with partners including Trakka Systems and StandardAero, the system provides a cost-effective attack and surveillance solution. This new capability is aimed at international military and parapublic customers seeking an affordable multi-role aircraft. The modification allows the popular single-engine helicopter to compete in the growing light attack market.
