Dassault Utilizes Advanced Simulator to Mature Falcon 10X Ahead of Service Entry
Dassault Aviation is leveraging a new engineering flight simulator to advance the development of its flagship Falcon 10X business jet. The ground-based platform allows test pilots and engineers to refine the aircraft's digital flight control system and handling qualities. This 'fly-before-flight' strategy is crucial for maturing the aircraft's complex systems, including the Rolls-Royce Pearl 10X engines, well ahead of the actual flight test campaign. By de-risking development on the ground, Dassault aims to ensure a smoother certification process. The company is now targeting a service entry for the ultra-long-range jet in 2027.
