Dassault Aviation Reports Record Backlog Amid Strong Rafale Orders, Misses 2023 Delivery Targets
Dassault Aviation announced its 2023 full-year results, achieving a record-high order backlog of €38.5 billion. This surge was primarily driven by significant orders for its Rafale fighter jet, totaling 102 aircraft for both export and French domestic clients. Despite the strong order book, the company faced supply chain disruptions, causing it to miss its initial delivery forecasts for the year. Dassault delivered 13 Falcon business jets and 15 Rafale fighters, falling short of its targets. For 2024, the company has set an ambitious goal to significantly increase production, aiming to deliver 35 Falcon jets and 20 Rafale aircraft.
