Colombian Air Force C-130 Hercules Crashes After Takeoff in Amazon Region
A Colombian Air Force C-130 Hercules transport aircraft has crashed near the Marandúa Air Base. The incident occurred shortly after the plane took off for a training mission in the country's Amazon region. Reports indicate the aircraft, registration FAC1010, caught fire in an engine before it went down. All eight military personnel aboard the aircraft were fatally injured in the crash. An investigative commission has been dispatched to the site to determine the cause of the accident.
