Collapsed UK Airline Flybe to Be Wound Down After No Buyer Found
Administrators for the collapsed British airline Flybe have announced they will begin to wind down the business. The decision comes after a year-long effort to find a buyer for the airline's assets and operations proved unsuccessful. Flybe, which was a relaunched version of a previous carrier, abruptly ceased trading and entered administration in January 2023. The administrators from Interpath Advisory will now focus on selling the remaining assets. This marks the definitive end for the airline brand, which had been a key player in UK regional aviation.
