CMA CGM Group Expands into Aircraft Maintenance with Crystal Aero Solutions
The CMA CGM Group, a global player in sea, land, air, and logistics solutions, is launching its own aircraft maintenance company. The new entity, named Crystal Aero Solutions, will be based at Châteauroux Airport in France. This facility will primarily support the MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) needs of CMA CGM AIR CARGO's fleet, which includes A330F and B777F aircraft. The strategic move represents a vertical integration for the group, aiming to enhance operational control and fleet availability. Crystal Aero Solutions also plans to offer its services to other cargo and commercial airlines in the future.
