China's Aerofugia to Commence eVTOL Flight Trials in the UAE
Chinese eVTOL developer Aerofugia has partnered with the UAE-based Multi Level Group (MLG) to conduct trial flights of its AE200 aircraft. This collaboration aims to introduce the five-seat, tiltrotor vehicle to the Middle East and North Africa. Under the agreement, MLG will provide local support for flight operations, airworthiness certification, and market expansion. Aerofugia, a subsidiary of the Geely Technology Group, has already completed the first full transition flight of the AE200 prototype. The company is targeting type certification from the Civil Aviation Administration of China by 2026.
