Chapman Freeborn and DSV Execute Complex Airlift for Time-Critical Aircraft Parts
Global aircraft charter specialist Chapman Freeborn, in collaboration with logistics provider DSV, has successfully completed a time-critical mission to transport oversized aircraft parts. The operation was organized for an Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situation, requiring the immediate delivery of a Boeing 777 elevator and a large fairing. The components were carefully loaded onto an Ilyushin IL-76 freighter at Maastricht Aachen Airport in the Netherlands. The cargo, which included a custom-built crate measuring 12 meters in length, was successfully flown to its destination in the Middle East, resolving the urgent maintenance issue.
