Central High School Senior Accepted into Tuskegee University's Next Gen Pilot Training Program
Jada Peterson, a senior at Central High School, has been accepted into the Tuskegee University Next Gen Pilot Training Program. The initiative aims to address the significant lack of diversity in the aviation industry, where less than 2% of commercial pilots are Black. This program honors the legacy of the historic Tuskegee Airmen by creating a pipeline for future aviators. Upon completion, Peterson will earn her private pilot's license.
