Cathay Cargo Reinstates Bangkok Freighter Service After 10-Year Hiatus
Cathay Cargo has officially resumed its dedicated freighter service to Bangkok after a decade-long absence. The twice-weekly service operates from Hong Kong, utilizing a Boeing 747-8F freighter. The new route follows a Hong Kong-Bangkok-Singapore-Penang-Hong Kong schedule, enhancing connectivity within Asia. This reinstatement adds significant cargo capacity for general goods, specialized shipments, and growing e-commerce traffic. The move strengthens Bangkok's connection to Cathay's extensive global network through its Hong Kong hub.
