Cargo Handler AGI Accused of Multiple Safety Failings at New York Airports
Cargo handler Alliance Ground International (AGI) is facing serious allegations of multiple safety failings at New York's JFK and Newark airports. The Service Employees International Union (SEIU) has accused the company of maintaining unsafe working conditions, leading to numerous employee injuries. The union alleges issues such as malfunctioning equipment, inadequate training, and a failure to address safety hazards promptly. Formal complaints have been filed with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). AGI has denied the allegations, attributing them to a union organizing campaign.
