Cardiff Airport Re-establishes Transatlantic Link with New BermudAir Flights
Cardiff Airport has announced the return of transatlantic flights, with a new service to Bermuda launching in May 2025. The route will be operated by BermudAir, flying twice a week and offering a seamless connection to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This marks the first direct link to North America from the Welsh airport since the collapse of Thomas Cook in 2019. The service will utilize an Embraer E175 aircraft, which will include a brief refueling stop in Halifax, Canada. This development is seen as a significant boost for the airport and the Welsh economy.
