Canadian Sensor Firm Searidge Unveils Arrow-1 Autonomous Combat Aircraft
Canadian sensor and digital tower specialist Searidge Technologies has revealed its new autonomous combat aircraft concept, the Arrow-1. The jet-powered, high-subsonic platform features a stealthy design for missions including intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and acting as a loyal wingman. Searidge is leveraging its experience in sensor fusion and artificial intelligence from the air traffic management sector for the aircraft's development. The company states the Arrow-1 is currently a privately funded internal research and development project. A full-scale prototype is planned as the program advances from the current design and simulation phase.
