California Air National Guard Leads Joint Drone Training at Innovation Hub
The California Air National Guard’s Grizzly Spark innovation center recently hosted a multi-branch drone training exercise called “Big Grizzly.” The event brought together personnel from the Air Force, Army, and Marine Corps to enhance their skills with small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS). The training provided both classroom instruction and extensive hands-on flight experience. A key objective was to foster interoperability by sharing tactics, techniques, and procedures among the different services. This initiative, spearheaded by the 144th Fighter Wing, aims to accelerate the integration of new technologies and improve warfighter capabilities on the modern battlefield.
