CAA International and ALG to Lead Belize's Aviation Sector Modernization
CAA International (CAUi), the advisory arm of the UK Civil Aviation Authority, has been appointed alongside consultancy firm ALG to support the reform of Belize's aviation sector. The project, funded by the Inter-American Development Bank, aims to modernize the country's civil aviation framework. The collaboration will assist the Belize Department of Civil Aviation in enhancing its safety and security oversight capabilities. Key deliverables include a new national aviation policy, a five-year strategic plan, and updated regulations to align with international standards. This initiative is designed to strengthen Belize's air transport system and foster economic growth.
