Business Aviation Operators Advised to Plan for New Singapore Flight Requirements
Business aviation operators with flights planned to Singapore are being advised of revised pre-departure requirements. The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) now mandates that a pre-departure flight plan be filed via the AFTN or AMHS network. This new filing is in addition to the standard flight plan submitted to air traffic control units. The measure is designed to improve air traffic management and slot allocation, particularly during high-traffic events. Operators are strongly encouraged to review these changes to ensure compliance and avoid operational delays.
