British Airways to Resume London-Tel Aviv Flights with Cyprus Stopover
British Airways has announced it will resume flights between London Heathrow and Tel Aviv starting April 1, after suspending the route in October. The service was halted following the outbreak of the Israel-Gaza war. For operational and safety reasons, the flight will include a 45-minute stop in Larnaca, Cyprus, to allow for a crew change. This procedure avoids the need for crew to stay overnight in Tel Aviv. The airline joins other European carriers like Lufthansa and Air France in reinstating services to Israel.
