British Airways Owner IAG Finalizes Order for 37 Airbus A320neo Jets
International Airlines Group (IAG), the parent company of British Airways and Iberia, has placed a firm order for 37 additional Airbus A320neo family aircraft. This move converts previously held options into a confirmed purchase valued at over $4 billion based on list prices, although airlines typically receive significant discounts. The new, fuel-efficient jets are designated for the group's short-haul operations. Deliveries are scheduled to take place between 2028 and 2029, with the aircraft being allocated across IAG's airlines to modernize their fleets.
