British Airways Owner IAG Finalizes Order for 190 Boeing 737 MAX Jets
International Airlines Group (IAG), the parent company of British Airways, has confirmed a major order for 190 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. The deal includes 50 firm orders for the 737-8-200 and 737-10 models, with options for an additional 100 jets. These new, fuel-efficient planes are scheduled for delivery between 2023 and 2027. The aircraft will primarily be used by IAG's low-cost carriers, Vueling and Level. This confirmation is a significant vote of confidence in the Boeing aircraft, which was previously grounded worldwide after two fatal crashes.
