British Airways Owner IAG Confirms Major Order for 57 Boeing and Airbus Aircraft
International Airlines Group (IAG), the parent company of British Airways and Iberia, has finalized a major deal for 57 new aircraft. The firm order consists of 10 Boeing 787 Dreamliners and 10 Airbus A320neos, which were converted from previous options. This significant fleet investment signals the group's strong confidence in the recovery and future growth of air travel demand. In addition to the firm purchases, IAG has also secured options for an additional 100 aircraft, further positioning its airlines for future expansion.
