Brazil and Argentina Fuel Latin American Air Traffic Surge
Air traffic across Latin America and the Caribbean experienced robust growth in April, increasing by 6.3% compared to the same month last year. This performance has pushed the region's overall passenger volume to 104.2% of pre-pandemic levels from April 2019. The primary drivers of this expansion were Brazil and Argentina. Brazil, the region's largest market, saw traffic climb by 7.7%, while Argentina recorded an impressive 15.6% year-over-year jump. Other key markets, including Mexico and Colombia, also contributed positively to the sustained regional recovery.
