Boeing Whistleblower Alleges Major Safety Flaws in 787 and 777 Aircraft
A Boeing engineer, Sam Salehpour, has come forward as a whistleblower, alleging serious safety shortcuts in the production of the 787 Dreamliner and 777 jets. He claims that sections of the 787's fuselage are improperly fastened together, creating a risk that they could break apart mid-flight after thousands of trips. Salehpour also raised concerns about the 777 program, stating workers used excessive force and jumped on sections of the aircraft to make them align. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has confirmed it is investigating these serious allegations. Boeing has strongly refuted the claims, stating it is fully confident in the safety of both aircraft.
