Boeing Highlights Advanced Stealth Capabilities of MQ-28 Ghost Bat Drone
Boeing is actively promoting the stealth features of its MQ-28 Ghost Bat, an autonomous drone designed as a 'loyal wingman' for crewed fighter jets. Developed by Boeing Defence Australia for the Royal Australian Air Force, the unmanned aircraft is engineered to collaborate with platforms like the F-35. Its design incorporates features such as special engine inlets and an internal weapons bay to significantly reduce its radar signature. The primary goal of the Ghost Bat is to extend the sensor range and combat effectiveness of crewed assets, thereby keeping pilots out of immediate danger. The program also marks the first military combat aircraft designed and produced in Australia in over 50 years.
