Boeing Halts 737 MAX Deliveries Due to Fuselage Wiring Issue
Boeing has temporarily paused deliveries of its 737 MAX aircraft to address a newly discovered manufacturing issue. The problem concerns improperly installed wiring bundles inside the aircraft's fuselage, a component supplied by Spirit AeroSystems. While not considered an immediate flight safety risk, the non-conformance requires rework on affected airplanes. The issue was found on both undelivered jets and those in storage, impacting a significant portion of the production line. This latest quality control problem adds another challenge to Boeing's efforts to stabilize and ramp up its 737 production rates.
