Boeing Faces New Whistleblower Allegations Over 787 and 777 Safety
A former Boeing quality manager has raised serious safety concerns regarding the assembly of the 787 Dreamliner and 777 aircraft. The whistleblower, Sam Salehpour, alleges that sections of the 787 fuselage are improperly fastened, creating a risk they could break apart after thousands of flights. He claims Boeing dismissed his concerns and retaliated against him, prompting him to contact federal regulators. The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has confirmed it is investigating these allegations. Boeing has strongly refuted the claims, expressing full confidence in the safety of its wide-body jets.
