Boeing 737 Suffers Tyre Burst, Nose Gear Collapse During Landing in Turkey

A Corendon Dutch Airlines Boeing 737 experienced a significant incident while landing at Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport in Turkey. The aircraft's front tyre burst upon touchdown, which led to the subsequent collapse of its nose gear. The plane, arriving from Cologne, Germany, came to a stop on the runway with its nose resting on the tarmac. All 190 people on board, including 184 passengers and six crew members, were evacuated safely with no injuries reported. Turkish authorities have initiated an investigation into the cause of the landing gear failure.
