Boeing 737 Suffers Tyre Burst, Nose Gear Collapse During Landing in Turkey
A Corendon Dutch Airlines Boeing 737 experienced a significant incident while landing at Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport in Turkey. The aircraft's front tyre burst upon touchdown, which led to the subsequent collapse of its nose gear. The plane, arriving from Cologne, Germany, came to a stop on the runway with its nose resting on the tarmac. All 190 people on board, including 184 passengers and six crew members, were evacuated safely with no injuries reported.
