BluJ Aerospace Launches Second-Generation eVTOL on Vantis UAS Network
BluJ Aerospace has officially launched its second-generation hybrid-electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, the BluJ-5 V2. The launch and demonstration flights were conducted at the Grand Sky test site in North Dakota. This event successfully utilized the Vantis beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) network. The BluJ-5 V2 is designed for middle-mile air cargo logistics, boasting a range of 500 miles and a payload capacity of 500 pounds. The company aims to provide a high-speed, cost-effective, and sustainable solution for the logistics industry.
