Blue Air's Revival Plan Approved by Creditors, Backed by U.S. Investor
Romanian airline Blue Air has received creditor approval for its restructuring and comeback plan. The revival is supported by an unnamed U.S. investor and involves relaunching operations with a fleet of 10 Boeing 737 aircraft. This marks a significant milestone for the carrier, which suspended all flights in late 2022 due to severe financial problems. The airline plans a gradual resumption of services, initially targeting key European destinations. While the plan addresses outstanding debts, the final step requires court approval before Blue Air can officially return to the skies.
