Beyond Aero Finalizes Design for Hydrogen-Powered Business Aircraft
French hydrogen-electric aviation OEM, Beyond Aero, has successfully completed the Design Freeze for its first business aircraft, the BYA-I. This crucial milestone finalizes the aircraft's external shape, dimensions, and the architecture of its main systems. The aircraft is designed to accommodate six to eight passengers and is built around its innovative hydrogen powertrain. The company is currently testing this powertrain on a full-scale demonstrator. Achieving the Design Freeze allows Beyond Aero to move forward with selecting major suppliers and advancing toward the manufacturing phase.
