BETA's Electric Aircraft Advances U.S. Air Force Medical Logistics Trials
BETA Technologies has successfully completed a medical logistics flight using its all-electric ALIA aircraft as part of the U.S. Air Force's Agility Prime program. The aircraft flew a 122-nautical-mile mission, simulating the transport of medical supplies to a medical center in Springfield, Ohio. This demonstration was conducted in collaboration with the 445th Airlift Wing and the USAF School of Aerospace Medicine. The flight highlights the growing potential of electric aircraft for rapid, quiet, and efficient military logistics. This successful mission marks a significant milestone in validating the use of electric aviation for critical real-world applications.
