Beta Technologies Advances Electric Aircraft Testing with U.S. Air Force in Texas

Beta Technologies has launched the next phase of flight testing for its all-electric ALIA aircraft in Texas, collaborating with the U.S. Air Force's AFWERX program. This new deployment follows a successful six-month evaluation at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida, where the aircraft conducted over 70 missions. The Texas trials will focus on operational experimentation to assess the aircraft's suitability for military logistics and support missions. During this phase, the team will conduct multi-hour flights in a high-tempo environment to develop new tactics and procedures. Beta has also installed its own charging infrastructure at the new testing hub to support the operations.
