Bell Details Construction Plan For High-Speed MV-75 Tiltrotor Demonstrator
Bell has outlined its plan to build a full-scale demonstrator for its MV-75 high-speed tiltrotor concept. This initiative is part of the U.S. Air Force's High-Speed Vertical Takeoff and Landing (HSVTOL) program. The development will be phased, beginning with ground-based sled tests in 2026 to test the folding rotor system. Following successful tests, Bell will construct a flight-capable demonstrator at its Fort Worth facility. The MV-75 aims to combine vertical lift with jet-like speeds exceeding 400 knots for future military applications.
