Bell 525 Relentless Enters Final Phase of FAA Certification Testing
Bell is preparing to begin the final phase of FAA certification flight testing for its 525 Relentless super-medium-lift helicopter. This crucial stage involves Function and Reliability (F&R) testing, which will require approximately 150 flight hours. The company has submitted nearly all required certification reports to the FAA, clearing the way for this last step. Achieving this milestone is critical for the long-delayed program, which introduces the first commercial fly-by-wire helicopter. Bell is now targeting FAA certification for the 525 Relentless in 2025.
