Banner Plane Conducts Emergency Landing on Ocean City Beach
A single-engine banner-towing plane made an emergency landing on a beach in Ocean City, Maryland, on Sunday afternoon. The pilot, identified as Trevor Deihl, experienced mechanical trouble shortly after takeoff. He successfully landed the aircraft near 24th Street without any injuries to himself or beachgoers. Ocean City Police responded to the scene, and the aircraft was later removed from the beach. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has been notified of the incident.
