Avolon Completes Acquisition of 10 Ex-China Southern Boeing 787 Dreamliners
Aircraft lessor Avolon has finalized the acquisition of 10 Boeing 787-9 aircraft previously operated by China Southern Airlines. The complex deal involves widebodies manufactured between 2017 and 2019. Biman Bangladesh Airlines has been confirmed as the first customer, set to take delivery of two of the Dreamliners. Avolon is now actively marketing the remaining eight aircraft to other potential airline clients. The transaction highlights significant activity and confidence in the secondary market for modern, long-haul jets.
