Russell W. Meyer Jr., the former chairman and CEO of Cessna Aircraft Co., has passed away at the age of 93. Meyer is widely regarded as a titan of the industry, having led Cessna to become a global leader in the business jet market. During his tenure, he championed the development of the iconic Citation family of jets. He was also a pivotal force behind the passage of the 1994 General Aviation Revitalization Act, which revived the U.S. light aircraft industry.
