Avianca Cargo successfully managed its Mother's Day peak season, transporting more than 20,100 tonnes of flowers between April 15 and May 7. This volume represents an 18% increase compared to a regular week for the carrier. The operation required over 340 flights originating primarily from Bogotá, Medellín, and Quito. The main destination for these floral shipments was the United States, with Miami serving as the principal hub for distribution. This seasonal effort highlights the airline's significant role in the global flower supply chain, particularly from South America.
