Avianca Cargo Reports 21,000-Tonne Flower Haul for Mother's Day Peak
Avianca Cargo has announced the successful transport of approximately 21,000 tonnes of flowers during the peak Mother's Day season. This volume represents a 17% increase compared to the same period in 2023. The operation involved more than 360 dedicated flights from Colombia and Ecuador to global destinations. The primary market was the United States, with Miami serving as the main import hub for the delicate cargo. This achievement highlights the airline's critical role in the global floral supply chain during its busiest time of the year.
