Avelo Airlines Secures 30-Year Lease for Major MRO Facility at Flagler County Airport

Avelo Airlines has signed a major 30-year lease with Flagler County for ten acres of land at the local airport. The airline plans to invest approximately $30 million to construct a 65,000-square-foot maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility. This significant development is expected to create up to 150 high-wage, skilled jobs in the region. The agreement transforms the airport into a key maintenance base for the carrier's East Coast operations. This deal focuses solely on maintenance and does not include plans for commercial passenger service from Flagler.
