Aurrigo International Appoints Industry Veteran Simon Smith as Director of Global Airport Operations
Aurrigo International has named Simon Smith as its new Director of Global Airport Operations to spearhead its expansion. Smith brings over three decades of aviation experience, having held senior positions at British Airways, Heathrow, Gatwick, and Qatar Airways. Most recently, he served as the Head of Baggage Operations at Hamad International Airport in Doha. In his new role, Smith will lead the worldwide deployment of Aurrigo's autonomous vehicle technology, including the Auto-Dolly and Auto-DollyTug. This strategic appointment aims to accelerate the integration of autonomous solutions into the ground handling operations of major international airports.
