Archer Aviation Secures Record Cash Position Amidst Widening Financial Losses
Archer Aviation has announced its first-quarter 2024 financial results, revealing a record liquidity of $721 million. This strong cash position, bolstered by a $15 million investment from partner Stellantis, is intended to fund the company through its planned commercial launch in 2025. Despite the healthy cash flow, the eVTOL developer reported an increased net loss of $116.5 million for the quarter, up from the previous year. The company remains focused on achieving FAA certification for its Midnight aircraft and is advancing the construction of its high-volume manufacturing facility in Georgia.
