Archer Aviation Reports Record Cash Position as Net Losses Continue to Climb
Archer Aviation finished 2023 with a strong liquidity position, holding approximately $625 million in cash. However, the company's net losses for the year grew substantially to $457.9 million, up from $232.8 million in 2022. This high cash-burn rate comes as the company advances its Midnight eVTOL aircraft through the FAA certification process. Archer is also proceeding with the construction of its high-volume manufacturing facility in Georgia. Additionally, the company has signed a framework agreement with Abu Dhabi to launch operations there by 2026.
