Alt-Air Partners with Eve and Skyports to Launch eVTOL Operations in Australia
Eve Air Mobility is partnering with helicopter operator Alt-Air and vertiport developer Skyports Infrastructure to advance electric aviation in Australia. The collaboration aims to establish Urban Air Mobility (UAM) operations in New South Wales and Queensland. As part of the agreement, Alt-Air has signed a Letter of Intent for a potential order of up to 50 of Eve's electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft. Eve will provide the eVTOLs and its Urban Air Traffic Management software solution. Skyports will contribute its expertise in developing the necessary ground infrastructure and vertiports for the network. This comprehensive partnership seeks to create a complete and sustainable UAM ecosystem in the region.
