Alliance Aviation Appoints Industry Veteran Steven Greenway as New CEO
Australia's Alliance Aviation Services has named airline industry veteran Steven Greenway as its next Chief Executive Officer, effective October 28. Greenway will succeed Scott McMillan, the company's founding managing director, who is stepping down from the role. McMillan will remain with the company, transitioning to a non-executive director position on the board. Greenway brings extensive experience from the low-cost carrier sector, having co-founded Singapore Airlines' budget carrier Scoot and served as CEO of WestJet's Swoop. Alliance Aviation is a key player in Australia's charter flight market, particularly for the mining sector, and also provides wet-lease services to Qantas and Virgin Australia.
