Allegiant Air Slashes 34 Florida Routes in Major Winter Schedule Overhaul
Allegiant Air is making significant adjustments to its winter flight schedule, cutting a total of 34 routes, most of which serve popular Florida destinations. The network changes impact several key airports, including Punta Gorda, St. Pete-Clearwater, and Orlando Sanford. The airline has described the move as part of its standard dynamic scheduling process to align capacity with seasonal demand. While these routes are suspended for the winter, many are expected to resume next year. The low-cost carrier is also adding one new route between Appleton, Wisconsin, and Fort Lauderdale.
