Alaska Airlines and Boeing Sued by Passengers Following Mid-Air Door Plug Incident
A group of passengers has filed a lawsuit against Alaska Airlines and Boeing following the mid-air door plug blowout on a 737 MAX flight in January. The legal action alleges that both companies were negligent, leading to the incident which forced an emergency landing in Portland, Oregon. Passengers are seeking compensation for physical injuries and the severe emotional distress they experienced. This lawsuit follows a preliminary report from the National Transportation Safety Board which found that key bolts were missing from the door plug.
