Alaska Air Cargo Launches Daily London-Seattle Freight Corridor
Alaska Air Cargo has initiated a new daily freight service connecting London Heathrow and Seattle, creating a direct corridor for UK and European businesses to the US West Coast. The service utilizes the belly-hold capacity of a daily passenger flight operated by its oneworld partner, British Airways. This new route offers approximately 15 tonnes of cargo capacity per flight on a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. The expansion represents a significant step for the airline's international freight operations, managed in the UK by GSSA partner Exp-Air Cargo.
