Airbus Warns Supply Chain Problems Are Slowing Aircraft Production
Airbus has confirmed that persistent supply chain issues are hampering its ability to increase aircraft production. The aerospace giant is struggling to source essential components, including engines, aerostructures, and cabin equipment. This has created a challenging environment for ramping up the manufacturing of its popular A320 family jets. Despite these headwinds, Airbus is maintaining its target to deliver 800 commercial aircraft this year, though it anticipates a significant number of these will be handed over late in the year.
